We learnt about Picasso ,I didn't realise he was still alive when I was born! And had a go at recreating some cubist art.

Here is the Spanish flag.

The girls enjoyed watching and having a go at some flamenco dancing.

Geography-France

Our first country to visit was France. Loads of lovely food to choose. We tried French onion soup with French stick and Brie and Camembert, Croque Monsieur, Macaroons, Crepes, coq a van and chocolate eclairs! Yum

We built a model of the Eiffel tower with straws - did you know it was only supposed to be a temporary structure?

We learned some French phrases and that the national symbol of France is the cockerel.

I read a book called Katie and the Impressionists and Amy decided she wanted to paint a picture like Monet

Geography

We started off our geography group remembering how God so love the world and holds us in his hands.
We looked at our place in the world, our house, in our town, in our country, in our continent, in our planet. We learned about the 7 continents with a song!

We got our suitcases and passports ready for an adventure.
